Faith and Mental Health

Did you know that 1 out of 5 Americans experience a mental health challenge? Did you know that faith and mental health go together? Yes, you can have faith and mental health, actually without the two together you may not in my opinion yield the ideal results.

I know many people have different opinions on combining the two together. On my mental health journey, I do not know how I would have made it this far if my relationship with God was not where it needed to be, faith has kept me going and adding my counselor was the icing on the cake.

Seeking help does not make your faith less or seeing a therapist or a counselor does not lessen it either. God placed these resources here for us to use so that we can have a better total well-being. If you need help seek it with a professional or a trusted friend. Pray, journal, and add a mental health professional if needed.
